This state-of-the art facility is a 95,000 square foot property that includes a juvenile detention space, as well as a community services and diagnostic and treatment center for the District of Columbia. The project includes a full range of "design and build" elements such as resident housing, a library, recreation, medical and public spaces, and infrastructure elements such as HVAC and emergency power generation.

Six badly neglected properties in the District of Columbia were contracted for redevelopment by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Each of these properties was redeveloped for eventual sale and/or rent. After over a decade of neglect, extensive engineering, evaluation and testing resulted in brand new homes with all modern fixtures as well as complete compliance with all federal and local building codes.
